Your Destiny: 87% of the Population Never Finds It!

Figuring out your destiny and life purpose is a responsibility that each and everyone of us has. I read recently that 87% of the population go through their entire life without achieving higher than ordinary levels of awareness and finding their life purpose and passions. They never learn that life is about endeavoring to live to the fullest.

Here is a 13th Century poem that I think is beautiful:

You were born with potential.
You were born with goodness and trust.
You were born with ideals and dreams.
You were born with greatness.
You were born with wings.
You are not meant for crawling, so don't.
You have wings.
Learn to use them and fly!

There are a few key concepts that can help you realize your dreams, destination and life purpose. It is not so much what you are doing, but how you are doing it and how you are living.

Always know that anything is possible, choose to live on the side of infinite possiblity, hold a sense of the possible in your mind and in all that you do. When you do, things will come to you to allow you to overcome any and all challenges.

Know that your purpose will only be found in the service to others. Learn to give without want. Give without expectations and always create new ways to serve others better. Want for others what you want for yourself, and your wish will be granted. Make it your nature to be generous. The more you give of yourself, no matter how big or little, the more opportunities you open up to you. Give your money or your time or your knowledge or your smile or your help.... look at this poem by Swami Sivananda on the best thing to give:

The best thing to give:
Your enemy is forgiveness.
To an opponent, tolerance.
To a friend, your heart.
To your child, a good example.
To your father, deference.
To your mother, conduct that will make her proud.
To yourself, respect.
To all men, charity.

Live and do your life purpose with passion, inspiration and a sense of joy. All of these positive emotions will raise your energy and vibration allowing more good to be attracted to you. Did you know that the word "enthusiasm" is greek and means "God within". Did you know that the word "inspired" comes from the root words "in - spirit" which also refers to "God within". When you feel a desire, that is actually a power within you seeking fuller expression or higher level of performance, that is what makes you feel inspired and enthusiastic. It becomes a deep sense of knowing that which you were meant to do and be. That is being inspired. That is enthusiam.

Finally, live with a sense of belonging. Know that you are connected to everything and everyone. When you raise the energy and vibration of others, you raise the vibration of the collective whole. Here is another poem by Sivananda:

All life is one. The world is one home.
All creation is an organic whole.
No man is independent of this whole.
Man makes himself miserable by separating
Himself from others. Separation is death.
Unity is eternal life.

Finally, from the William Blake poem: "If the doors of perception were cleansed, everything would appear to man as it is: infinite."

Remember that life is infinite in resources and opportunities and that you are already connected to them all!
