Exercise with Positive Affirmations to Create Optimal Health & Well-Being

This is an exercise on how to get the most out of your affirmative thoughts.

1. Write your affirmative thoughts down.
2. Make your affirmations clear and concise.
3. Make your affirmations detailed.
4. Make your affirmations appropriate and believable. For example if you lost a limb, you would not expect that limb to actually grow back, but you would affirm that you were reaching higher and higher levels of function.
5. Describe your affirmations as if they are already true, as if the end result has already occurred.
6. State them in the present “I” form. Make them personal, in the first person.
7. Only state what you want, not what you do not want.
8. Do not focus on lack or limitations, only on a fuller recover or advancing of self expression.
9. Say them out loud, shout them if you feel comfortable.
10. Place them all over the house, on the computer, in the refrigerator, in the kitchen cabinets on the mirror-places where you will see them, read them and repeat them often and continuously during your day.
11. Attach strong positive emotions to your affirmations to ignite them with, energy and power. Emotions add amazing power to your thoughts and speeds up the manifestation of that thought into your experience.
12. Visualize the affirmation. Close your eyes and see the end result.
13. Repeat your affirmations. Repetition is key to implanting your affirmations into your subconscious. Say them over and over.
14. Record your affirmations on a CD and listen to them as you are falling asleep. You may prefer to play them on an endless loop tape that just continues to repeat over and over all night so you can pick up the message into your subconscious.
15. Believe you can achieve it; believe it is coming to you. When your desires or your affirmations are in conflict with your imagination, your imagination invariably wins and you push away your desires. You cannot hold two contradictory beliefs in your mind at one time, your mind will attempt to harmonize and will accept your stronger belief which most often times is the negative default pattern. Your desires cannot come to you when you have conflicting desires or thoughts.. Start stretching your imagination, little by little and believe in your heart and soul that it is true. Stretch, do not snap your imagination, and make your affirmations believable to you. Make your affirmations your default pattern of thinking.

Sample Affirmations to achieve optimal health and well-being:
· I am open to receiving even more health and function.
· I am feeling better and stronger each and every day.
· Good health comes to me in a large flow of abundance.
· Everyday I am getting healthier and stronger.
· I deserve good health and function.
· I am now pain free.
· I am now free from addiction.
· I am a health magnet.
· Good health flows to me easily and frequently.
· The flow of good health is opening up to me more and more each day.
· Everyday I experience greater health than the day before.

Congruence: A Must Have for Optimal Health& Well-Being

Have in your mind that which would constitute a miracle for you. Get the vision. Suspend disbelief and skepticism. Allow yourself to take the journey toward real magic.”
-Dr. Wayne Dyer

Some people will read this post and spend a lot of time and energy focusing on good health and they will seem to do just about everything right-set goals, practice positive thinking, be thankful, practice the creative process and visualization, and still not see results. In order to manifest an abundance of health, one must achieve congruence. Congruence is the condition that all parts of you are in alignment. You must align these three key parts.

· DESIRE: The first key part is desire. You must want it. You must want good health so badly that you are willing to make changes. You must want good health in every cell and fiber of your being.

· DESERVE: The second key to becoming perfectly aligned and congruent is to deserve it, this is self-acceptance. This is also your self esteem, you must believe that you deserve good health and that you are deserving of all the abundance of life when good health is apparent.

· BELIEVE: The third key part is belief. You must believe, with faith and purpose that you can achieve a full recovery and good health.

Surviving and Thriving with Chronic Illness

Return to work is a challenge that most individuals who have become chronically ill, are coping with an addictive disease, or have sustained an injury, encounter at one time or another or potentially on an ongoing basis. There is ample literature available that documents that the longer an individual is out of work following an illness or injury, the less likely he or she will return to work. In addition, the individual who does not return to work is often found to have increased disability and medical costs, increased emotional and financial stress, poor self esteem, higher likelihood of depression and lower levels of function. All of these factors are negative and can lead to a life focus of disease and disability. This can lead to a snowball effect of cascading health problems.

Nothing is more fatal to our health than an over care of it
-Benjamin Franklin

Therefore, unless you are finically secure, the important thing is that you do try to work. Working will bring about a change in your mind and thoughts to bring about positive feelings of accomplishment, optimism, hope, confidence, strength and joy. Working provides an opportunity to turn feelings of self-pity, boredom, loneliness and depression into positive energy. We can improve our health by return to work and experiencing positive emotions as opposed to focusing on our situation.

Self pity is our worst enemy and if we yield to is, we can never do anything wise in this world.”
-Helen Keller

Striving, not just Surviving
It is important to have a work-related goal, whether it is related to finances, success, promotion or finding work that you enjoy and feel fulfilled while doing. It is important to strive, not just survive at work. The more passionate and fulfilled you are in your work or career, the more successful you may become. Here are some tips on striving in the workplace when coping with a medical condition.

1) Don’t let your illness define who you are. You define who you are. The message you want to portray is that your condition is just a card in your deck of cards. Having a chronic illness or condition is neither a source of shame or pride.
2) Focus on what you can control. You may not be able to control the disease or symptoms, but you can control the direction you take and the choices you make regarding working and your condition. Shape your work environment to meet your needs and to fit your limitations.
3) Don’t consider your condition an obstacle. Consider it a challenge, an opportunity.
4) Be honest. Do not hide your illness, do not be ashamed. But if your illness impacts your work, know your rights. Don’t take on an unnecessary burden of pretending you do not have a chronic condition. Be as public or as private as you need to be.
5) Thrive in your environment. Work with your abilities to achieve success, raise the bar, go for satisfaction not just survival. Use visualization to imagine the work environment that you need and want, stay focused and intend it.
6) Focus on the positive. Workplace success when dealing with a chronic illness or condition can be strengthening and transforming. Many new strengths, skills, qualities and confidence we were not aware we possessed evolve or blossom as a result of our illness.

Definition of Disability
Federal law defines a "Disability" as “a physical or mental impairment that substantially limits or restricts the condition, manner, or duration under which an average person in the population can perform a major life activity, such as walking, seeing, hearing speaking, breathing, learning, working, or taking care of oneself. However, an impairment or diagnosis, in and of itself, does not necessarily constitute a disability: it must "substantially limit" these activities.” Another definition describes disability as any restriction or lack (resulting from an impairment) of ability to perform an activity in the manner or within the range considered normal for a human being.
Many of us shun at the term or label of being “disabled”. Disability infers that we have an “in” ability to do something, or we lack the ability to do something, that the person is not able or less than whole. When outwardly and inwardly we know we are capable of many wonderful things, sometimes we just need to do things differently or with accommodations. Personally, I consider myself “Difabled”.

Definition of Difability
A Difability means an individual can perform specific functions or activities, but does them differently than a normal person would. That such an individual requires accommodations, but with these accommodations is equally effective and productive as a normal, health individual. Difabled individuals have different abilities, not a lack of abilities.

If you are coping with a serious condition, in order for you to succeed, it is critical that you do accept your limitations, identify them, be open about them and work within them. We must be hopeful in our approach to function and change our thoughts that focus on our “lack of ability” or “Disability to our “different ability” or Difability. That is the difference between continued limitations and possibilities. Once you accept your difabilities and learn to work within them, you can achieve success and thrive in any environment that supports you. You can achieve things that you thought were impossible.

Sometimes what we think is so impossible turns out to be possible after all.”

Top 7 Universal Laws for Abundance, Health and Success

The universal laws.... something that I was unaware of until about 3 years ago... are the laws of which the universe works by. By living in Harmony with these Univeral Laws you can improve anything in your life. But understand this, if you want to see changes in your life, you must understand and study these laws, it is the understanding and application of wise thoughts that count!

If you would like new results in your life, better health, better relationships, more wealth, freedom and success, then you must think, feel and act in harmony with these laws.

Here is an excert from the Secret Science of Getting Rich program presenting these universal laws. I found this program powerful and most instructive, I strongly recommend you participate in some program to learn these laws to opimtize your life, your health, your success, your love and your dreams...

I will post some resources at the end of this post....

there are many to choose from, please do decide to act and start learning and working in harmony with these laws and as Dr. Dyer always says... "when you change the way you look at things, the things you look at change", meaning these laws work, they absolutely work, guaranteed, when you start to work with them, your life will change, guaranteed.

Now from the SGR program, as written by Bob Proctor:" There are certain laws which govern the process of acquiring riches (may I personally add this is true for love, relationships, optimal health, success of any kind... what ever you desire, there is a law that determines the outcome). Once you learn and obey these laws, you will auotmatically become a member of the select group of people who live "The Secret" and you will get rich (or be successful in whatever you desire (nbm)) with mathematical certainty. There is but one Great Law: namely, "Energy Is" or "God Is".All physical and mental science is based on this one great law and its 7 subsidiary laws which operate in co-ordination with each other. "

Here are the Universal Laws:
1) The Law of Perpetual Transmutation
2) The Law of Relativity
3) The Law of Vibration (Law of Attraction)
4) The Law of Polarity
5) The Law of Rhythm
6) The Law of Cause and Effect
7) The Law of Gender

The best definition of Natural Law seems to be that "it is the uniform and orderly method of the omnipotent God."Additionally, unlike any other form of animal life that has been created, we were given the power of choice or free will."Remember these universal laws and the law of attraction are always working, whether you believe or understand them, the truth is in your current results. You can change your results, just learn these universal laws and apply them to your life. Then think it, feel it and do it and you will attract everything you need, this is the great Secret of life!"

I have researched and found some additional universal laws, I will post those soon!

Law of Attraction: Miracles of Healing

Law of Attraction
Understanding the Law of Attraction is most critical to your success in recovering and acquiring hope. Simply put the Law of Attraction states that “I attract into my life whatever I give my energy, focus and attention to, whether unwanted or wanted or conscious or unconscious.” This means that you can have anything you choose, no matter how big it is. This means if we learn how to apply the law of attraction, we can learn how to achieve miracles of healing. We can achieve greater levels of function and recovery.

The Law of Attraction works because we all have one infinite Power; a God, Higher Power or Universe, and that we all guide ourselves by laws; natural laws of the universe, such as the law of gravity and the law of attraction. The law of attraction can best be described as a magnetic force, that like thoughts attract like experiences. That these laws of nature are so precise, that when man thinks about things, he or she can accomplish miracles. The law of attraction says that everything in your life is attracted to you by your thoughts. The Universe takes these thoughts as instructions, and manifests what you think about and focus on, into your life’s experience.

For example, if you think and focus about how sick, tired and emotionally strained you are, you will become sicker, tired and emotionally strained. The more you think and focus on your current situation, wanted or unwanted, the more tolerable or intolerable your situation will become. If you worry and are angry about your loss of function and pain from your illness or about not having good health, you are practically guaranteeing yourself an experience of lack of health. If you are constantly jealous and bitter towards others, as they have health and you do not, you are going to attract more jealousy and bitterness into your experience. What you resist persists and what you fear perseveres.

Our Thoughts have Frequencies
Our thoughts have frequencies, so when you think about or imagine what you want, such as good health, the ability to exercise, the ability to feel good, your thoughts go out to the universe or Higher Power and the universe or Higher Power brings it to you. So if you see yourself living in a healthy body, you will attract this into your experience. So whether you are thinking about your past experiences, your present situation or your future, and whether you are remembering, observing or imagining, the universe or Higher Power is listening and responding by bringing that thought and those things right back to you.

Attracting Thoughts and Things by Using your Mind
Your mind is a sender and receiver of information far beyond the five senses. You can attract thoughts and things into your life, just by using your mind. Think about driving on some remote country road. You try scanning your radio to find a new radio station for some good traveling music. Until you tune into a station, you will not hear the music. But that does not mean that it is not already out there, nor that other people are not already listening to it. The same principle applies to whatever you are attracting into your life. What you are experiencing is dependent upon what frequencies your thoughts are emitting their information on. When you send it out thoughts or information, a message to the Universe or Higher Power, by the power and vibrations of your mind and of your thoughts, you will attract it back to you, into your experience. It is quite a complex theory the first time you hear and consider it. But as you think about it and look around into your world, you will see that indeed this is true. Learn to use information to attract better an abundance of all good things to your life. Visit www.AcquiredHope.com and www.AcquireAbundance.com for free resources and programs.

Chronic Ways of Thought
If one has a prolonged negative chronic way of thinking about their illness, according to the law of attraction, these thoughts will manifest into existence. Their experience will be that of chronic illness and lack. If one is thinking about how bad it is, then they will get more of how bad it is. If one is thinking of how good it is, then they will get more of how good it is. If one is thinking of how good their health is, they will have more good health. If one can accept and practice this concept, one can transform their life.

The key concept to take away is that we are all the architects of our life, good or bad. All of our problems are created by us and us alone, not by your parents, partner, boss, friends, accident, disease, upbringing or family. All of our successes were created by us and us alone, not by luck or chance. We have created them, each and every one. This may be really difficult to accept if this is the first time you are hearing this concept. But once you do, your life can transform into a whole new world, with unlimited possibilities and success, good health, hope and joy.
Life is full of challenges, when faced with a chronic illness or injury, one can either focus on lack and feel blame, or learn from their situation. One can be a victim or a victor. When one chooses to be a victim, he or she blames others, blames their circumstances or blames themselves, they focus on the lack. When on chooses to be a victor, they learn from the situation and grow to be even stronger than before, they use their new knowledge, make positive changes and increase their fulfillment. Are you choosing to be a victim or a victor? Learn how to acquire hope and be a victor!

We have the power to attract more good things, more good health into our experience. One just needs to learn how to apply the laws of attraction and remain focused on what he or she really wants. Consistent thought and affirmations will shift your mind and your energy and allow greater health to come into your experience. Most times, this is a learned skill and hope is acquired. Faith comes from prolonged, sustained and subconscious hope.
