Calmness of Mind: Jewel of Wisdom

Here are some great ones from SGR program

Choose your thoughts wisely!

"The only thing that can grow is the thing you give energy too".
-Ralph Waldo Emerson

"To think what you want to think is to think truth regardless of appearances."
-Wallace D. Wattles

An ignorant person permits the appearance of things to control his or her thoughts. They do not realize that they can choose their results, they can reject any thought or idea and they can create their own truth. So few get this, so few act on it, so few at true co-creators. Co-creators realize that they are spiritual beings with creative energies and power flowing to them, through them and from them.

"Calmness of mind is one of the beautiful jewels of wisdom. It is the reslut of long and patient effort in self-control. Its presence is an indication of ripened experience, and of a more than ordinary knowledge of the laws and operations of thought.

You become calm in the measure that you understand yourself as a thought evolved being, for such knowledge necessitates the understanding of others as the result of thought, and as you develop a right understanding, and see more and more clearly the internal relations of things by the action of cause and effect, you cease to fuss and fume and worry and grieve, and remain poised, steadfast and serene."
-James Allen

Wow, that was powerful
